RIMEDO Labs joins AI-RAN ALLIANCE to be part of the discussion towards integrating AI into RAN solutions, shaping the future of wireless connectivity.
Rimedo Labs, a specialist in RAN algorithm design, is excited to announce its membership in the AI-RAN Alliance. This collaboration marks a significant step in Rimedo Labs’ commitment to advancing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into radio access network (RAN) solutions, shaping the future of wireless connectivity.
The AI-RAN Alliance brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven technologies in RAN systems. By joining this prestigious group, Rimedo Labs will contribute its expertise in network optimization, supporting the Alliance’s efforts to create smarter, more efficient, and adaptive network infrastructure.

However, it is important to shape this world carefully, so that we can take advantage of the opportunities while overcoming all the risks” said Adrian Kliks, CTO of Rimedo Labs. “Therefore we are happy to join AI-RAN Alliance to take part in this journey.”

The AI-RAN Alliance will leverage the collective expertise of members like Rimedo Labs to advance research and innovation in three main areas: AI-for-RAN, which focuses on enhancing radio access network capabilities with AI to improve spectral efficiency; AI-and-RAN, which integrates AI with RAN processes to optimize infrastructure use and create new revenue opportunities; and AI-on-RAN, which deploys AI services at the network edge to increase operational efficiency and provide new services to mobile users. Network operators in the alliance will spearhead the testing and implementation of these technologies, developed through the collaborative efforts of member companies and universities.
